As part of the Duck Creek Watershed Project, a cost share for urban conservation landscaping practices is available for residents, businesses and local governments in specific areas of Davenport and Bettendorf that have shown to contribute excessive amounts of runoff and bacteria to Duck Creek. Below are maps of these specific areas.

The cost share pays 50% up to $2,000 for urban conservation landscaping practices. Information on qualifying practices can be obtained by clicking on the name of each practice below.
Rain gardens, enhanced rain gardens and bioretention cells
In addition to protecting water quality, reducing storm water runoff, flood levels and occurrences and providing habitat for wildlife, these practices address drainage problems, reduce mowing and beautify properties.
